Construction of new terminal

BMT has added another milestone to Umm Qasr history; while its state-of-the-art container terminal is being built, BMT has welcomed the first super heavy vessel of its kind on its one of its kind new berth on one of its kind projects.
MV Jumbo Javelin, laden with 8 super heavy and OOG cargo reaching up to 425 tons for Basra Refinery Upgrade Project, has berthed at BMT New Terminal and completed discharge without any issues.
BMT is now expecting to welcome more such vessels with record-shattering dimensions and weights this year for the same project as well.
