With its handling capacity of up to 10,000 MT per vessel per day; Basra Multipurpose Terminal is specialised in the handling of dry bulk cargoes suitable for grab & pneumatic handling.
At BMT; we predominantly handle & store bulk agricultural products & foodstuffs, industrial bulk material such as cement & phosphates, as well as other bulk commodities in covered or open-air facilities.
A well-organized terminal and our adaptability in performing operations are a guarantee for the high quality of our services.
The Terminal includes multiple berths & extensive warehousing facilities. Additional bulk services available from BMT include weighbridge services & quayside bagging facilities (capable of discharging/bagging up to 4,000 tonne per day per vessel).
Continued investment in & development of the terminal has resulted in number of improvements since commencing bulk-handling operations in 2012, resulting in ships discharging even more efficiently & faster.
